28 September 2012 -  New office opening in Hong Kong

Considering the large number of investors concentrated in the region of Greater China and Southeast Asia, and the growing number of the Russian companies which are interested in cooperation with the companies of the region, "ICDI" management in cooperation with its strategic partner, "Pacific World Fund Management Ltd (Hong Kong)" has joined force to open a new Hong Kong office. The presence of employees of the company directly in the financial center of Greater China and Southeast Asia not only will promote the awareness of “ICDI” but also will help the company find new clients and partners.

"ICDI (Hong Kong)" office will be working in three main directions:

1) SPO/IPO/PE for the Russian companies planning to be listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx). For those Russian companies already listed in Moscow, London or elsewhere, our Hong Kong office could help them to be quickly listed in HKEx to achieve better trading liquidity or enhanced investors’ followings. Capital raising via a Secondary Public Offering (SPO) is naturally a distinct possibility. For those companies planning to have an Initial Public Offering (IPO) at HKEx, capital raising via pre-IPO placements of Private Equity (PE) are also possible given the presence of many sizable PE funds in Hong Kong.

2) Direct Investments. As the Russian economy continues to grow, Chinese and Asian companies are very much interested in penetrating into the Russian market via direct investments in whatever form eg. Majority or minority stake in an existing Russian enterprise or a joint venture with a Russian company. Under this circumstance, ICDI Hong Kong office could assist such companies in matching them with the right Russian targets/partners.

3) Technology Transfer. As the Russian economy is transforming itself from a resource based one to a diversified economy with both manufacturing and service sectors, it requires various Chinese and Asian partners providing the necessary technology and know-how to be transferred to the Russian parties. Likewise, the Russian companies with strong technologies in aviation and communications could be keen to transfer their technologies to China and Asia.

The address of the new office is following -

ICDI (Hong Kong) Company Limited
